Professional Background

Jose earned his Juris Doctorate at Saint Thomas University, College of Law where he graduated Cum Laude and received the Intercultural Human Rights Certificate. Jose received the CALI Book Awards in Trial Advocacy Practice, Seminar: International Law in the 21st Century, and The Right to Integral Human Development.

In law school, Jose was a founding member and treasurer of the Fashion Law Society, and in the Fall of 2023, he authored an article published with American University, Washington College of Law on the topic of international bribery and corruption. 

Throughout law school, Jose clerked with several litigation firms, with practices ranging from multiparty business litigation, real estate transactional disputes, insurance fraud, personal and bodily injury, products liability, class actions, mass tort, civil RICO, and immigration.

Prior to law school, Jose attended Saint John’s University in Minnesota, where he received a double major in Political Science and English.
